About me

I remember some unforgettable moments from my adolescence when I loved helping my maternal grandmother make homemade fermented bread; it was an indescribable pleasure. My paternal cousins’ birthdays also never left my memory, and my aunt would always teach me something new and delicious – I still make that sponge cake with vanilla cream and strawberries to this day. My family was a constant, loving presence, infusing even the simplest celebrations with profound joy and unforgettable warmth.

At 17, I started my journey towards higher education and pursued a degree in economics. Later, I earned an MBA in business and a master’s in business management, and I even started my Ph.D. in management. Throughout my career, I worked in administration, but what always remained close to my heart was my passion for showing love and care to my loved ones by preparing homemade food and tasty desserts.

Even after my family and I moved to the United States, I continued my tradition of welcoming people to our home and making them feel cherished through food. However, my love for baking and pastry-making eventually led me to pursue it professionally. I completed a course in Baking and Pastry and became a Pastry Chef in the US. My management skills came in handy, and I learned to lead and motivate teams while pursuing my passion.

I dreamed of opening a café, but with the pandemic, I had to pivot and consider this virtual space instead. My primary goal with this blog is to provide you with the same joy and happiness I feel when preparing sweet treats for my dear ones. I hope to help you strengthen your relationships and create unforgettable moments with your loved ones in the comfort of your own home.
