Today, I’m excited to share a unique baking adventure with you—Strawberry Guava Muffins. Strawberry Guava is a delightful fruit, rich in vitamin C, and boasts a flavor profile similar to the guava fruit we already know and love, albeit a tad more tart. This vibrant fruit comes in shades of red, yellow, and purple, adding a splash of color and a burst of flavor to any dish.
In this recipe, we’ll explore how this exotic fruit can transform the humble muffin into a tantalizing treat that’s perfect for breakfast, a snack, or even dessert. Let’s bake something special, shall we?
Ingredients:
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup of sugar
- 150g of butter
- 1 ½ cups of Strawberry guava pulp
- 3 cups of all-purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons of dry milk (24g)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and prepare a muffin tin with liners or by greasing with butter.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar until well combined.
- Melt the butter and let it cool slightly before adding it to the egg mixture. Mix well.
- Add the guava pulp to the mixture and stir until evenly incorporated.
- Gradually fold in the flour and powdered milk until just combined. Be careful not to overmix the batter.
- Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 3/4 full.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
- Allow the muffins to cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
