Sour Tapioca Biscuits have this magical ability to bring back fond memories with every bite. These biscuits are versatile and perfect for any time of day – breakfast, snack, or as an afternoon treat. And the best part is that they are incredibly easy to make!
In addition, creating these delightful biscuits at home presents a great opportunity to unite the family in the kitchen, forge unforgettable memories, and exchange stories. From blending the ingredients to taking them out of the oven, every single step marks a moment of joy and warmth.
Ingredients:
- 300g of sour starch
- 1 cup of water
- 75g of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of salt (10g) – I used pink salt
- 1 egg
- 150g of Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
- Place the sour starch in a bowl and set aside.
- Bring the water, olive oil, and salt to a boil. Pour this mixture over the sour starch. Using a spatula or an electric mixer, stir well until all ingredients are incorporated and the mixture is cool enough to add the egg.
- Beat well until the mixture is smooth. Add the cheese and stir a bit more to incorporate.
- Shape the biscuits using a piping bag or with the help of two tablespoons.
- Bake the biscuits in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 20 minutes or until the bottoms are lightly golden.
