Ingredients:
- 2 cups of cornmeal
- 1 can of Whole Kernel Corn
- 1 1/2 cups of sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup of coconut milk (or other milk of your choice)
- 1/2 cup of vegetable oil (I used coconut oil)
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
- Blend all ingredients in a blender for about 2-3 minutes.
- Grease and flour a baking pan or use a non-stick baking spray.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 50 minutes.
Guava Paste Sauce
Ingredients:
- 17.6 oz (500 g) of guava paste
- 1 cup of water
Instructions:
- Blend all the ingredients in a blender to simplify the process, but if you prefer, you can also melt them directly in a pan. Leaving some chunks can make the final result even more tasty.
- Heat the mixture just enough to thicken.
- Let the mixture cool until warm before pouring it over the cake.
